George Khalaf, President of Data Orbital, issued the following statement: "Education has consistently been a hot button issue for the previous 18 months and this announcement from the Governor is sure to keep it front and center. It is clear that Arizona voters overwhelmingly support his plan and believe it will have a positive impact on Arizona schools. It is nearly unheard of to see this amount of overwhelming support for a single issue. As grassroots education groups conduct their vote on whether to hold a strike, these results should give them pause."

This poll of 800 likely general election voters was conducted through an IVR survey (automated) that collected 100% of the results from land lines. It has a margin of error at plus or minus 3.46%, with a 95% confidence interval. Respondents were weighted on a number of different demographic figures based off historical general election turnout in Arizona. The poll was conducted over two days from April 14th - 15th.
