AZ08 Special Election Week 1 Wrap-Up and Analysis
(Phoenix, AZ) Data Orbital is pleased to offer this wrap-up and analysis of the first week of ballot returns in the AZ08 Special Election.
With the first of three total weeks of voting passed, Republicans are poised to have their best early ballot performance since the 2010 General Election. With the national atmosphere generally tending to favor Democrats, pundits had expected the “blue wave” to continue into Arizona with this Special. From what we can see thus far, there are no indications that Democrat enthusiasm or turnout in this Special is higher than would be normally expected.
